Marble, satin brass, and light define an exclusive bathroom environment, conceived as an immersive experience of materiality, elegance, and craftsmans

Michele Vitaloni + Partners, an architecture and interior design studio based in Forte dei Marmi, has been featured by De Castelli with the project designed for the Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte in Viareggio. The project expresses a vision of hospitality in which luxury is not defined by abundance, but by the precision of every detail, the quality of materials, and the ability to transform a space into a sensory experience. Within the bathroom environment, precious marble, reflective surfaces, integrated lighting, and details in satin brass interact in a sophisticated balance between material strength and delicacy. At the heart of the intervention is a custom-designed element by Michele Vitaloni + Partners, crafted by De Castelli, conceived not merely as a furnishing component, but as a true architectural presence. The Vela wall cladding metal wall, in the Satin Brass F1 finish, envelops the space with a soft, luminous gesture, enhancing the relationship between metal, marble, and light. The monolithic marble basins emerge as sculptural volumes, while the luminous columns and brass surfaces contribute to creating a warm, immersive, and refined atmosphere. The result is an environment in which every daily gesture is elevated into a ritual of beauty, comfort, and quiet sophistication. A fundamental contribution to the development and realization of the project came from Architect Martina Orsini, whose design sensitivity, technical expertise, and attention to detail played a decisive role in defining this exclusive space. This publication confirms the positioning of Michele Vitaloni + Partners in the fields of hospitality, interior design, and bespoke design, through an approach founded on material research, craftsmanship, innovation, and quality of detail.
